Meerkerk 25th Anniversary Founder’s Day

This year is the 25th anniversary of Ann Meerkerk donating her garden to the Seattle Rhododendron Society with the intent that it be maintained as “A peaceful woodland garden with Rhododendrons and companion plants”.

As part of the festivities this year will be “Founder’s Day” on Thursday, May 6th to honor those individuals who gave their love and labor to the gardens in the early days.

Of course very high on this esteemed list are our very own Loyd and Eddie Newcomb.

Festivities are from 1 to 3PM in the front garden or the house if the weather does not cooperate.
