Western Regional Conference

It’s still not too late to go to the conference this weekend in Seaside Oregon. The list of presenters is impressive and with the weather we’ve been having, who wouldn’t want to be on the Oregon coast now??? For more information, see the posting at:

USDA Zone Map

This year the USDA is revising the zone map. Reports are the draft shows the Puget Sound area moving into zone 9 (global warming rocks!) and adjacent areas to zone 8. Just think, with this official governmental imprimatur we can plant, safe in the knowledge that our rhodys will never again die from the cold….. ;-)
