Following are some of the items discussed during the meeting held at the Golden Corral: 1. Revive the name badge program we’ve had in the past, but make them more “professional” when worn at public functions such as our “Flower Show” 2. We have Vern, the singing bus driver signed up for a trip May 17 - 18. This will be Vern’s last trip for us since he is retiring. 3. Our Mother’s Day Flower Show will be held in Mount Vernon, at the Wash State Extension Service facility during the Master Gardener gathering. It will be a one day affair so we should have plenty of help from the chapter. 4. Other items that came before the board meeting will be introduced for discussion at our September 6th meeting. We will be having our meetings in the Fellowship hall, on the east side of the First Baptist Church, on 81st and State Ave, Marysville, for the 2007-08 season. _______________________ Party Invitation! Cheryl & Robert Arney will be hosting an Apple Cider pressing party on Saturday Sept 29th from 2-4 at Arney Farm. Roll up your sleeves and make cider the old fashioned way.
