Getting to Know You
Jerry and Shirley Rock are charter members of the Pilchuck Chapter. Jerry has served as chapter president on two occasions. He loves to share his extensive knowledge with anyone who will listen. The couple live on ten acres of woodlands that display over 3,000 rhododendrons, many Acer varieties, many evergreen varieties, hardy fuchsias, and many other companion plants. Their gardens will be one of several on the private garden tours during the Convention in May.
Donation by Robert Glein
We are the recipients of beautiful plants thanks to Dr. Robert Glein. We have plants to be moved from his place. He is giving them to Pilchuck Chapter and we need volunteers to dig and transport these free rhododendrons! We’ll work out a schedule at the February meeting. Talk to Jerry Rock if you would like to help. |
