Our March meeting will be held at the First Baptist Church, Annex building. The program will consist of Jerry Rock sharing his various plant tag strategies. Shirley Rock will be using us as guinea pigs by showing the membership PowerPoint presentation she is developing for the Convention. Speaking of the Convention, register before April 1st and save $20 on registration!

Fertilize! Now is the time to provide nutrients for your rhododendrons. A good 8-12-6 or 5-10-10 is good. I use the Komo Kulshan blend. You want to do this now because the plants are ‘waking up’ and setting flower buds. They need the extra nutrients for success. Check plants for dead limbs and remove them. Do not put the dead branches in the compost. They may be diseased and you don’t want to recycle it. Jerry’s Wacky Synonym Quiz
